Luke Shaw joined Manchester United in the summer in a £27m move from Southampton and has been living in the £3.85m home formerly occupied by Ronaldo.
The house, which is behind a gated entrance in Alderley Edge,
Cheshire, is understood to have a steam room, jacuzzi, indoor swimming pool, its own gym and wine store area.
Ronaldo tried to sell the home after his switch to Real Madrid
in 2009 but after being unable to find a buyer, instead opted to rent it out
and now finds a Manchester United player occupying it.
Luke Shaw commented about Ronaldo house which he rented:
“It’s a stunning house.
Luke absolutely loves it and especially the fact it’s owned by Ronaldo, one of
his football heroes.
Other United stars live close by and it is handy for the Old
Trafford ground.
